There are two things I dream about more than anything else in the world. First, I dream of developing and equipping today’s youth to be engaged. I desire to see the youth exhibit a genuine concern for the world around them. I want them to look up from their cell phones and notice the hungry man on the park bench in desperate need of a hot meal. I want them to notice the single mother trying to keep track of her three children while she rations out how much money she can spend on groceries for that week. I want them to notice the elderly widow across the street struggling to maintain the upkeep on her home. I want the youth of today to not be merely present in their community, but an active member.
Secondly, I dream of being a provider. I look around me and see financial need everywhere. I don’t have a lot of money, but being generous with what I have gives me incredible satisfaction. I desire to be able to identify a need in another person’s life, and be able to meet it. No strings attached.
I desire to work my way up the corporate ladder, and be able to fund events that allow youth to travel and engage different communities. I desire to equip them to take an active role in bettering their communities. I want them to believe that it begins with them and they are important to our future.
