If I could earn a living in being a professional ballet dancer, I would actually be more motivated to focus on getting better. Dancers do not get paid enough money for all of the work that they put on their bodies. Many dancers end up at least having a couple of surgeries to fix problems from dancing. I have been dancing since I was 2 years old, and I still have not stopped. I plan on having a small part time job as a ballet dancer while I am in college. I want to be able to keep dancing even though I am going to school for nursing. Now that I am in college, I want to purse my career in the medical field as a nurse. My favorite hobby is dancing but I decided to do get into the medical field in order to make a comfortable life. As a dancer, the body is not meant to be able to dance forever. The body breaks down as a person gets older. If I was a professional ballet dancer, I could open the eyes of young dancers to keep being motivated to get to where they want to be. Nobody can stop these young dancers from pursing their dreams. I know that someday my dreams will come true because I am going to work hard for it. I want to be able to show my parents how hard I worked to get what I wanted. When I have children, I want them to be able to look up to me.
