Throughout my life I have been recognized for many of my skills such as wrestling, cooking, and distance running but, my main passion lies in rapping. I am aware that most artists have made this form of music a joke however, there are a few such as I who strive to make it something worth listening to. I first began my rap career 4 years ago by writing about my struggles of day to day life with bullies and home problems but, now that those days are behind me, I can transform my pain to lyrical art.
Most rappers waste their power by polluting the minds of the young population with obscene lyrics and presenting themselves as horrible role models that kids still look up to because it is deemed, “cool”. I wish to use my gift for the betterment of the listening generation by giving them a real role model to look up to, who has something to say that can be taken to heart.
To reach my goal I am currently collaborating with a colleague who was excited to help me produce my album. Once we have finished my album I will upload it to iTunes and Spotify along with submissions of my album to several big producers and record companies. My dream is to not only rap for a living but, to have an impact on the way the young generation views themselves and develop self worth and pursue their own dreams.
