My name is Cody Dugan and first off I would like to personally thank you for taking the time to read this essay! Everyone has a dream job of what they would like to do when they are older. For me personally, I would love to make a living having a job as a Pennsylvania State Police Trooper. If I had a job as a State Trooper it would change the world of law enforcement. I have always been one to follow the rules and never tried getting into trouble and have never broken a law. I want to help enforce the laws of our country through the enforcement of the Pennsylvania State Police. Who doesn’t want to live in a safer world? In today’s world, crime rates are raising at a much greater pace than in previous years. This can be a frightening fact for parents who are trying to raise children in a safe, well established community. That’s why I want to help keep others safe by pursuing my dream job as a State Trooper. I am planning on attending the State Police Academy after I obtain my Associates Degree in Criminal Justice from YTI Career Institute to make my dream a reality. I believe I can help change the world, slowly, but surely. Thank you for your time in reading this essay!

Sincerely,
Cody Dugan
