My dream is to become a social worker; most students strive to work to help younger children. But as a social worker I want to help older kids in the range of sixteen to twenty-one. From what I have witnessed is that a lot of people who aspire to be social workers don’t want to deal with older children because most older children are stubborn and set in their ways. What most social workers don’t take in to questioning is all these older kids need is someone to listen and to show that they care. A little compassion goes a long way. And I have a whole lot of compassion to give.

What I have done to make my dream a reality is volunteer, join organizations such as; Student Government Association, leadership teams, food drives, and many others. I don’t know if helping a few people is changing the world to you. I’m obviously not in it for the money. I do it because helping people keeps me moving and keeps me fighting. Every choice we make big or small impacts the world in some way. But if odds are in my favor I’d like to make it a wise one.
