I consider myself one of the fortunate ones in the world to have an opportunity to pursue an education and earn a living doing what I love most. I want to be a nutritionist. I want to help people with food allergies and intolerances get the nutrients they need from their diets without pain and problems.
Being an individual who has IBS, I know what it’s like to be a little apprehensive about eating anything because even foods that are considered healthy choices can cause issues for me. I believe I can change the world, one person at a time.
I know all too well the conversations people have with themselves when they struggle with food related health issues. They think along the lines of “I really want this enchilada. I know I’m going to get a headache and maybe even a stomachache later, but it’ll be worth it” or ” What happens to me if I eat this? Am I going to hurt later? Should I still have a girls night out or am I going to want to stay close to the bathroom?”
My goal is to spend my life doing what I love: giving individuals living with food related health conditions the education and encouragement to be successful in maintaining and improving their health.I want to give people an array of foods to choose from that aren’t attached to a worry about the consequences.
