If I could earn a living doing what I love the most it would be mentoring and tutoring other individuals. In high school I was president of my class. Besides making sure that prom tickets sales were going well or making sure everyone was in attendance for the class meetings, I felt that it was my duty to be a positive role model for my peers. I was the person that everyone would come talk to if they needed to vent about a problem, or if they needed help with a homework assignment, or even needed someone to walk with after school. The best feeling in the world is to know that I helped someone overcome an obstacle in their life or succeed at something. Over the years I have realized that the world would be a much better place if only there were more people pouring love and wisdom into the hearts and minds of others rather than neglecting and criticizing them. That is exactly what is wrong with society now. There are too many selfish individuals filled with greed and only care about what they can get from others and not enough people who actually care and would lend a helping hand. You never know whose life you can touch or turn around just by listening to them or offering them some advice to show that they have someone who cares. I would not even want money for doing that, knowing I helped a soul is payment enough.
