If I could earn a living doing what I love most, I would be becoming a college professor. This is a recently discovered dream of mine and was facilitated by a professor that changed my world for good. Because of this incredible teacher, I was able to discover more about myself in four weeks, than I had in four years and I want to be that person for someone else. I believe that changing the world does not start on a global or macro level, but rather it starts in a person’s heart. Igniting the fire in a person’s soul to go out and change the world for just one other person is how revolutions happen. When we think of people that have changed the world, Marten Luther King Jr., Mahatma Gandhi, Mother Theresa, we think that one person made all the difference, but that is not true. What these remarkable people accomplished was lighting a fire in the hearts of others; they inspired those around them so much, that they achieved the most amazing feats. Now, I don’t claim or dream to be as extraordinary as those people were, but I hope I could play a small part in the lives of those around me. I hope to change a person’s heart for the better, just by being an example of courage, strength and fortitude. I desire to change the world in the way my professor did for me, by facilitating learning and personal discovery for others.
