Giving to communities in need, whether it be time and effort or something physical, always puts a smile on my face regardless of how inconvenient or out of the way it is to take part in. There are a significant amount of people, families, who are underprivileged or desperately need assistance after a catastrophe, that appreciate any help at all. Seeing a person’s face light up with disbelief and warm comfort is a priceless sight, convincing me that individuals were put on this earth to lift up and help their community. If by any chance I could spend my life doing this and receive a livable income I would do it in an instant. So often we become closed minded to the rest of the world and the issues that society faces globally. What better way to spend a day than traveling the world and bringing smiles to everyone you meet? Kindness is like a virus that keeps on spreading, but only if you let it. One good deed might inspire someone else to go out of their way to help another, leaving the end result to be a perpetual chain reaction. Thoughtful things like this light the path to world peace, essentially a world solely run by good energy– the ultimate utopia.
