Every young kid has a dream of what they want to be in the future. Most kids usually say and astronaut or a professional athlete, and in reality those two are very unlikely. Even though they are most likely not going to end that way kids still dream. When I was a kid, I dreamt of working for Microsoft and designing video games or software for them. As I grew older I started to realize this may not be what I wanted to do or that I may not be able to do this. This is completely different from how I feel today.
At this point in time I will be attending the University of Washington to study computer science and engineering. The campus is located in Seattle, which is not far from the Microsoft campus, located in Redmond, Washington. My dream is now completely possible. With a degree from one of the best computer science programs in the country I could potentially get a job with Microsoft.
Microsoft is a world changing company producing new software and hardware every year to make the consumers life easier or better. By working for them I would have the chance to help become a part of some of these projects and possibly design one myself. If you look around yourself right at this moment while you are reading this, you will most likely see something made or programmed by Microsoft. These items may be a computer, printer, tablet, or application.
