My life has been one big roller coaster ride of an adventure ever since I can remember. I was born into the world of the cross-cultural child, having literally been raised as a US citizen in Spain. Since then I have lived in Morocco, the United States, and Guatemala, as well as visiting many more. Exploring other cultures is a part of my life and has become a passion as well. I love cultural exchange as well as teaching other people from other cultures things that I know and believe. I have found the greatest joy in such activities.
Traveling is generally thought of as a “money taker” rather than a moneymaker. However there are certainly jobs available that involve such work. One could be a diplomat or work with a non-government organization. Through these jobs a person suffering from extreme wanderlust can change the world. Lighting up the world begins with one spark, therefore I believe that even in the small things, like helping a church in their soup kitchen or building a swing set for a school, I could change the world. Specific goals are very hard in this particular non-specific profession, for all one has to do is hop on a plane! I suppose one goal would be to take every opportunity I have to travel and to save financially for these opportunities.
Through this I may not change the entire globe, but I could change a person’s world, which is all the satisfaction I need.
