There is one thing that comes to mind when I am asked what I would do if I could do anything, and that is play video games. Professionally or not, it would be most college boys’ dream come true if they could play games all day and get paid. What stops most of them from making this a reality, however, is that it simply ends there. For me, it doesn’t.
After getting into YouTube a few years ago, it is apparent that people playing games online for others to see can have a huge impact on the world. To just name a few, Markiplier, one “YouTuber” who has become increasingly popular over the past few years, tries to host monthly charity live streams, where people donate money to charity because Mark simply plays a game.
As for me, I would take it a step further. Using my channel and accounts over various sites, I would raise money to give back to communities all over the world. From helping to feed the poor to Africa to providing help to the sick and weak here at home, each event would generate some sort of money to go to people’s help.
Unfortunately, this will most likely not happen. Although it does seem childish, playing games for people would be a dream come true, and I would make sure that the community I create helps give back to others.
