If I could do whatever I wanted, there is no question about my answer. I have known that I have wanted to do this since the mission trip I took to Haiti with my church in 2012. I would teach children in underdeveloped countries. Now, I know there are people that already do that, but I would like to be one of those people. Those children do not get the same education we, as Americans, do, so I would like to be a part of the reason that they would get the same education.
The risks of this job are high and I am not saying it will be easy, but I love to teach. I love seeing the look on children’s faces when they finally understand something. To better help a greater quantity, I would go to different places, doing what I could to better their education. I could spend my time learning new things that could be interesting them. It would be a learning experience for me too.
This job is not something of high profile, this I know. Also, it is not a high-paying job, or anything close to it. However, it is a very rewarding job. It may not be able to change the whole world, but it is enough to change their world in a big way and that is all I could ever ask for.
