Soccer and children have always been my two life passions and they have helped me to endure and to overcome many obstacles in my life. Due to this, I would choose traveling around and teaching soccer to needy children as well as offering them meals, clothes, and shelter as a means to earn my living. For me, that would be the best of both worlds. I could continue to teach and play soccer while also transforming the lives of many through my work. I can show to the children that soccer can be used as an outlet and an escape from the brutal realities they may face at home as well as demonstrating to the children that there are people out there who love and care for them. These children will learn valuable life lessons that they otherwise might not. These lessons will include how to follow rules and instructions, how to behave in a public setting, how to interact with others, and how to help others while still having fun and living your lives dream, all lessons very valuable for later on in life. By using soccer as an outlet and means to escape, these children’s lives will potentially be saved and greatly changed and transformed, preparing and opening them up to a multitude of future successes for both themselves and for the people around them.
