If I could earn a living in civil engineering/architecture, I would change the world in many ways. Innovation for a cheaper and more eco friendly housing as well as build gymnasiums for communities across the world for children to use as an outlet, a way to find their passion and talents, to build friendships and put their social skills to test. I am twenty-three years old and I see younger kids glued to their cell phones, tablets, or computers, rather then playing outside with their friends as I did when I was younger. Technology has changed so much and gives us much more opportunity in many aspects but I would use my skills in civil engineering/architecture to make this world a much better place to live, one small community at a time. My goals to make this a reality are; complete a two year degree with Valencia College and transfer to University of Central Florida or University of Florida to complete a four year degree to then become an architect for a firm in Connecticut if the opportunity permits. Once I have on-the-job experience I would then like to open a firm of my own with my own team of experts. The reason I know architecture is for me is because of the passion I have for designing homes, and buildings that are going to serve a family or community. I have a vision of how I want to change the world in any small way I can.
