If I could earn a living doing what I love the most, I would follow my passion in ceramics and open my own shop to bring happiness to and light up my customer’s day.
Different types of ceramics pieces, such as coffee cups, bowls, vases, platters, etc., can be beautifully glazed to fit that certain someone’s personality. Coffee cups are a big hit with your everyday coffee drinkers: stay-at-home moms and dads, businessmen and women, college students, and grandparents. There are a wide variety of personalities and ages that love to drink coffee and having their own personal coffee cup that they love and think fits them always brings a sense of calm in the mornings. On a dreadful Monday morning, a brightly colored ceramic bowl can make a kid’s favorite cereal or a mom’s hot and delicious oatmeal much more enjoyable. Beautiful vases are good gifts for moms, grandmas, best friends, and coworkers for birthdays and mother’s day. A unique and intricately designed vase may be hard work, but the details bring out the beauty of not only the piece but the smile of the person for whom it was made. Platters designed for different holidays, for example, bring out the spirit of that celebration and make a memory with a child that is not easily forgotten.
All of these examples of ceramic pieces will light up someone’s day when enjoying its beauty. I would love to be able to bring that kind of joy to a person everyday.
