My passion is to work within the Juvenile Criminal Justice System. Furthering my education will support my career goals by giving me the experience and knowledge I need to reach my long-term achievement. I am finding that it is very challenging to find employment within my career field because of absence of a degree. I have come to the conclusion that not having the desirable amount of education is hindering me from following my career path and my desire to work with youths. I want to be able to guide youths to their fullest potential and for them to know there are people as myself who cares. I have been trying to continue my college education for some time and I am determined to finish. Receiving this scholarship will be a step forward in my endeavor to reach my goal for working with these youths whom need guidance and direction to let them know society haven’t given up on them
