The goal of this transcript is to write a personal career progress plan. This article is divided into three items which include career intended, present, and future.
My personal goal is to seek a career in Health Information Management. The long-term goal is to become a professor in a top rank hospital that will allow me to communicate, perform research and computing. I can make a difference to the world by trying to improve billing, coding as well as implementing procedures for giving outstanding care through research. Possibly start as a new assistant position which has many responsibilities, but can lead to a higher rank position.
I am currently a Hodges University student who is seeking a Health Information Management degree which I would love to obtain. I am close to graduating with five classes left to receive a degree. I plan to graduate in 2015. After succeeding at this goal I will work as a Health Information Manager.
A Health Information Management regularly review reported documents for accuracy, completeness, logic, and reliability. Health Information Management must know scheduling, billing, staffing, claims, worker’s compensation, plus accounting, record keeping, and reporting the information. Health information Management does insurance verification plus track medical information request. They have to know federal laws, state laws as well as HIPPA’s rules. They make everything obtainable for CMS for assessment purpose
