If I could earn a living doing what I love most, I would spend it being a Camp Counselor for a children’s camp. In the previous years, I have done a lot of volunteer work with the children’s ministry at my local church. I’ve been continuously volunteering for this event every summer for the past 4 years. Not only do I love teaching children about the grace of God but connecting with these amazingly bright and loving children is beyond amazing. During this Day Camp that goes on for 2 weeks, we teach the kids about God through bible study, fun plays and music. Along with learning, we give the children the opportunity to remain active and healthy through fun games and competitions of basketball, soccer, etc. On the very last day of camp, we go out of our way to rent out water bouncers and have an all day water day to celebrate a great summer at church. I gain such great relationships with these kids and getting to know each of them is amazing. Doing this is fun as volunteer work, if I could be able to do this every summer or everyday as a living, it would be a magnificent way to spend my life. Maybe teaching is something I see for myself in the future.
