It could be our society or the economy, but up to 70% of adults who work in the U.S. are either unhappy or unsatisfied with their jobs, according to Gallup’s 2013 State of the American Workplace report mentioned in a Daily News article in June, 2013 by Beth Stebner. Despite the raw reality or the statistics, I am fully determined to break those limits and do what I love most doing for a living, which for me would be Film Editing. The Film industry might be a major corporation but it’s also an impacting part of our world today. Entertainment is a moving and important part of individual lives, without it the world itself would be less exciting, I want to be part of what’s new and perhaps inspiring or enlightening people’s lives. Film Editing is only a small part of what really goes on in the Film industry, but it doesn’t matter to me if I make it big or not, I just want to be part of what made a difference to others. Whether I was part of what made a difference to someone’s life or even someone’s day or night, I still made it happen. I have currently been accepted to Ex’pression College of Digital Arts in Emeryville, where my goal would be to major in Film-making and pursue my career as a Film Editor once I have received my Bachelors.
