My Goals and Dream of a Better Life
If I could pick a dream job that I could earn money doing, it would be Health Information Technology. I have always loved working in the medical field, but I also have a passion for business. Working in the medical field as a Health Information Technologist is the perfect fit. I could have chosen many different career paths, but unfortunately I have an illness that does not allow me to stand for any length of time. I have worked as a Certified Nurse’s Assistant for over fifteen years, but as I progressed in the daily activities in this career field, so did my body with the illness. I have decided that I will not give up in the medical field, but will just change what career path to take. I am determined to put my goals into motion, first by applying to college, attending classes, and maintaining a G.P.A. of 3.85 or better. I have been at Kaplan for less than 20 weeks and enjoy it. I wish that by attending college at my age (43) I can teach others that you are never too old, young, or somewhere in between to obtain a dream goal! Even if you have chosen a career for a short time or a longer period of time, you may always choose college and obtain your dream. Life is short, and enjoy what you do for a living, make your dreams and goals a reality, attend college.
