Most people grow up being told they will make a difference in the world. The best way to describe how I plan to make my difference is one simple word: Entrepreneur. I don’t want to make my difference doing one thing. I want to do hundreds of things. I want to open a drive-thru gas station and a delivery service that isn’t limited to just pizza or Chinese food. I want to deliver people their milk again. I want to bring back the customer service we lost in the 1970s. First, I’ll get my education and create connections with already successful entrepreneurs. After graduation, I’ll find a realistic, steady job and live cheap for three years while I save up some money. Finally, I will find my building. Somewhere historical and overflowing with character will do. I’ll name is after my son, Carter. I am a firm believer in determination, but it is not one person’s success that changes the world. It is billions of people trying and billions of people becoming the difference.
