From a young age, I have always known that the environment was incredibly important. I grew up hiking, camping, and playing in the mountains of Colorado. And as I began to grow older, I began to see how the environment that I had come to love was in grave danger from pollution, over population, and destruction of all kinds. I knew that I wanted to protect the beautiful mountains and plains I had grown up with, keep the mighty Colorado river flowing, and one day get rid of the disgusting brown cloud that hung dismally around the Mile High City.
I want to implement a new era of sustainability in this country, and around the world. And in my opinion, the best was to start this is as a consultant for businesses and corporations. I want to be the one to tell these companies this, and then be the one to offer solutions so that instead of making the problem worse, these companies can make the problem disappear.
It is so important to me to implement new, sustainable living strategies. In addition to working alongside businesses, I would like to work alongside communities as well. Developing sustainable communities that act as models for future sustainable cities would really complete my dream of making the world a better place. If I had my way, I would be creating these communities and making businesses sustainable for my whole life, regardless of what I was getting paid.
