If I could earn a living doing what I love most, it would be a pastor. By being a pastor, I could definitely help change the world, but only through the help of God. A pastor sometimes has many different roles and responsibilities on Sunday and throughout the week. Whatever role I end up being as a pastor, I would like to disciple people who have marital or other problems, help teens stay out of trouble and encourage them to be devoted to God, give out food to church families that need it, share with people how they can live with God in heaven forever, and visit people in hospitals. The goals that I would need to make this dream a reality is that I would need to do a church internship during my college years which I am planning next summer. I am currently involved in the youth group at my local church and serving faithfully as an usher during morning and evening services. During the school year, I will be taking classes in areas that address youth, marriage and divorce, discipleship, administration, prayer, etc. In addition to taking classes within Biblical studies, I am planning on taking some classes in other fields which could help me better relate to others in their fields of expertise.
