Making a difference would be the most rewarding way to earn a living. The ability to help others like myself with big dreams that lack the means would prove to be the greatest payoff. I feel I am lucky to have such a strong ambition and will to do what I set my mind too. Unfortunately, many young people do not share my ambition and give up their passion to pursue a future of complacency. I want to be available to aid these musicians, writers, actors, photographers and other artists like myself that need support to make their dreams a reality. My dream of being a well-know musician is my motivation, I can’t imagine being told “no”, accepting that answer and shift my efforts elsewhere. It has been said that if you truly love what you do, you will never have to work a day in your life. As a child you are told to dream big, as you get older you are discouraged and told to either develop a plan b or abandon your desires altogether. One of my favorite artists St. Vincent, in a recent interview was asked what she would have done if music didn’t work for her to which she responded, “I think if you have a plan b you’ll never do plan a.” To this day this quote stays with me and it has become my motto.
