When I was younger, I used to watch a television show called “Extreme Makeover Home Edition”. In the show, a certain family is selected, based on their unfortunate life circumstances and situations, to have their home completely renovated and furnished. The life stories of these families are unbelievable, leaving you to wonder how they get by. This particular show has played a role in inspiring me to be an aid to families who live in poverty or, struggle to get by in their lives due to unfortunate life circumstances.
If I could earn a living doing what I love the most, I would build a brand and multi-faceted company, called “Agape” that is geared toward helping people, by not just providing them with the things that they may need, but by teaching, leading and supplying them with certain skills and characteristics to be successful and reach their goals. My company would include multiple divisions such as community-centered retirement home/assisted living facilities, daycares, teen and youth facilities and many other divisions to help those in need and guide them to success.
I believe that we are living in a society with lowered moral standards and certain human characteristics and qualities that are phasing out, causing we, as a people, to struggle and live in poverty more than we have to. I want to help change the world by allowing people to build a proper foundation and network of characteristics and skills to be a success in all areas of their lives.
