If I could make a living doing what I love most, I would be a psychiatrist. I chose this career because my greatest passion in life is people. I believe that my purpose in life is to help people better themselves. I believe that I can change the world because I can help people understand themselves. We tend to over think things and cause ourselves more stress than we have to. We put so much concentration into other things that we are sometimes oblivious of our own needs. We are always so caught up in “survival” that we fail to realize the beauty of life. I would like to help people realize that happiness is, in fact, a choice based on ones perception of the world around them. Even though I have noble intentions and purposes, I have to set certain goals in order to fulfill my dreams of helping people. First, I have to finish my undergraduate education at Wayne State University. I have roughly a year before I need to take the MCAT in order to get into med-school. Once I’m in med-school, I will study harder than I ever have before in order to meet my personal goals and expectations. My dream career is not just a dream. It is within my reach as long as I stay focused and put forth as much effort as possible. Soon, I really will be able to change the world.
