I love History I always have and always will. I learned a love for the past from a teacher I had in junior high. He taught me to appreciate the past so that I would not take the future for granted. My dream is to teach History at the University level, or even at the high school level. I love to teach and I love to bring History to life to those around me. I want to teach History so that I may be able to resurrect the study of ancient history to a new life. I know that History much like math is a sore subject with many complaints and struggles. I know however that, each topic must be taught with passion and creativity to show the student not only that you are knowledgeable but also passionate about what you teach. I am well known among my friends and family as a historian and have a strong skill in taking what I read and making it appear as a movie in your mind. My goal, my main goal is to have my students love history or at the very least respect it for its importance in the future of them, this wonderful country and the future of human race. I will change the world by bringing back the curiosity that once burned in the minds of young children to explore and question and learn. I will use the past to cultivate those embers and renew the fire of education.
