During my last two years at Arcadia University, I have found a passion for both conservation biology and traveling. It would be a dream come true to make a living with these two passions I found through courses I have taken at Arcadia. Uncovering my passion for conservation biology makes me strive to keep myself, as well as my family and friends, aware of the negative impacts of exponential human population growth on our Earth and all of its inhabitants. Problems that I desire to focus on include reduction in littering and water usage, as well as over-exploitation of resources. Some people are not aware of the severity of these problems. A strong solution would be to motivate children at a fairly young age, since the upcoming generation is our future. I dream of being able to travel to different grade schools around the world to encourage and educate students to be more aware of their impacts on the environment. I would want to start an organization with people who are as enthused as I am about these topics. The organization would feature a program with a mascot and a theme song that would be entertaining and kid-friendly so it would appeal to a young audience and make them excited about making a difference. It could lead to people all over the planet lessening their impacts and make the Earth a cleaner, healthier and happier place to live.
