It has been my dream for years to make a living using art to help people. Now, I am working to make this dream become a reality. I have been in school for three years and have many more to come in order to receive a degree in Art Therapy. Art Therapy is a way to connect with sick or suffering patients through art. It is a way to help them express themselves in ways that words cannot do. I aspire to be an Art therapist and work in hospitals, working with people and teaching them to create from the heart. I may not be able to change the entire world, but I want to be able to change one person’s world at a time. I want to be able to change lives using the power of art and give them the healing that I, myself, have received. I will be dedicating my life to this, as I already am through college. I know that many people are in detrimental places in their lives and need a form of expression to help them understand their own situations. This is what I would use art for, to work with them, to help them understand, and to help them heal. If I could earn a living doing what I love, I would spread art to those who need it most.
