If I could make a living doing what I love most it would be working as an advocate for the homeless. There are many homeless people all over the world who do not have a sense of hope. They feel like outcast and that no one cares. Many of them are homeless because of circumstances beyond their control. Some have faced hardships that others could not imagine.
I would create programs specifically towards helping them get back on their feet. It would be programs for self-esteem, continuing education, employment placement and of course assistance with food and housing.
I would have a programed geared towards going out and speaking with the homeless and education them on the programs I have that would assist them. I would first inform them of the food and housing assistance I would provide to them. Allowing them to have a safe place to eat and sleep.
I would then provide classes to them to help them with their self-esteem. The self-esteem classes will help to prepare them for the next step of continuing their education. The program would provide assistance in obtaining high school diplomas and GEDs. There would also be the opportunity to get assistance with obtaining grants and scholarships for college education. Assistance would be provided for gaining employment before, during and after completion of a higher education.
Individuals that are self-efficient are an asset to the world and can always contribute in making this a better world to live in.
