If I could earn a living doing the one thing I truly love I would choose dance with no hesitation. Have you ever had the passion for a goal so immeasurable that the mire thought of not having it or achieving it brings sorrow to your soul? That is how deep and powerful my love for the art of dance is.
Within the next 3 years I will combine my knowledge, experience and networks from the dance industry along with the knowledge, experience and networks that I will receive as a mass communication major with Clark Atlanta University and being a part of the 2014 Atlanta Falcons Cheerleaders to open a choreographer’s showcase in Atlanta. The showcase will feature aspiring choreographers between the ages of 13 and 25. Once a year the showcase will present well known choreographers and booking agents to assist in giving the young choreographers advice and/or an opportunities after reviewing their work.
On or before my 30th birthday I will own several dance studios in cities throughout the USA. The studios will provide boys and girls with the same opportunities plus more than I had as a child. My goal is to introduce or advance their skills in all forms of dance. I will provide a positive environment for them. Scholarships will be provided to families in need. Monthly students will perform community service. I want to teach the kids to give more than you receive and always follow your dreams.
