My name is Daniel McCulfor. From a young age I have always had an affinity for music. I believe that music has the profound, and universal ability to resonate with all mankind. If I could earn money doing what I love most it would absolutely involve a creative career where I am producing music. For a few years now I have felt a void in my life as I have drifted through various college courses with no direction. I finally realized that in order to feel spiritually fulfilled I need more love in my life. So the question was–”What do I love?” When it dawned on me I felt foolish for not realizing it before. I have always known I love music, but to consider a career in music would have meant going against the grain, and common belief that it is not a “wise” career choice. In our quiet corner of the world we sometimes forget the war, and turmoil that is constantly taking place. I would change the world by bringing light into a world that is full of darkness and hate. I want to illuminate the world and touch the hearts of as many people as possible with my music. I honestly believe that music can cure hate because it is a function of feeling and understanding. To reach my goals I have promised myself to apply to at least 50 scholarships by the end of 2014 to help finance my schooling. This is my 5th submission.
