I am not a complicated girl, and so I do not have complicated dreams. I sincerely enjoy making others feel they can relax when around me. It is my goal in life to continue doing these things, however, in my mind, no one career can accomplish both sides of relaxation: physical and mental; which is why my dream is NOT to have one job, it is to have two. My twin pathways are called massage therapy and creative writing. I feel that words are instrumental in how a person feels about any topic. Language is beautiful, and written language allows a bit of one’s own personality. For instance, no one reads a book the same way as another. Mental relaxation is very nice, yet it cannot be complete when one’s body is not in sync with the mind. Such is the reason I dream of massage therapy. Humans are social; we adore contact with others. To combine such contact with the feeling of a happy, “new” body, is divine, and, even by itself, can work wonders on a person. However, to me, one’s body is never relaxed without mental peace. I don’t aspire to change the world. All I want is to change a life.
“What I dream of is an art of balance, of purity and serenity devoid of troubling or depressing subject matter – a soothing, calming influence on the mind, rather like a good armchair which provides relaxation from physical fatigue.”
