To Live What I Dream
We think it will buy us happiness, and we think it will solve all of our problems. Money is the motive for practically any career we chase after; however, I won’t do it for the money.
It has been my dream to become a family lawyer; to settle dispute between a divorcing couples or finalizing paperwork for an international adoption. I have known this system of law my entire life, between divorce, child support battles, and kidnapping threats. My very own father threatened to kidnap me simply because he wasn’t getting what he wanted. It wasn’t until I sat face to face with my own family attorney where I realized I couldn’t live afraid because the law was on my side.
She changed my tiny world. At that precise moment the heavens opened up and my gloomy sky transcended into a shining light. I found the beckon of hope through the process of the law. It has been more than a dream to bring that same light back into people’s lives.
I’ll start a chain reaction. One person changed my life, and if under any circumstance I can do the same for just one person, then I will have accomplished my dream. It’s not the world I’m saving all at one shot; I’m helping one soul believe again to help the world out one step at a time.
