The greatest lesson I’ve learned so far is that life will always present us with challenges. Many of these challenges are unexpected, and these events are key to what draws me to the criminal justice field. In the future i would love to help people in their most difficult situations. I would like to be there when they truly need someone on their side, and fighting for them. I believe that this would help change the world, because the world would be a better place if people cared more for other people. I’ve been lucky enough to have amazing advocates in my life some that have helped shape me into the person I am today. My goal would be to become an advocate in the criminal justice system, live day by day instilling life lessons into people who have made bad choices, and by helping people with any situation that arises. I believe that in the criminal justice field you can help many people just by taking the extra time to ensure others are taken care of. Any scholarship that i could receive would be going towards my education at Roger Williams to earn my degree, and later to start on this journey.
Thank You,
