Turning my hobbies into a career, now wouldn’t that be a dream come true? If I could earn a living off of running a donation based animal shelter, franchise; I know I could change the world. Animals by nature are forgiving creatures, they as mammals just as we are need love to fulfill the hierarchy of needs. If animals are once abused, they will always forgive just to achieve the affection they so desperately crave.
Being a franchise my shelters could be opened up around the nation and possibly other countries as well. I would go on international campaigns, teaching my fellow humans around the world how they too could save the animals who have lived here longer than we have. This could also offer volunteer opportunities to young adults and children which could keep their down time productive and safe.
I also envision an opportunity for therapy as well. There is a high therapeutic value in human-animal connections that could help treat and cure many disorders such as depression, morale in the terminally ill, and responsibility in previous law breakers. The bond between humans and animals is truly unknown unless felt and I wish I could change the world by helping people realize that all they may need in their lives is a new pet.
