The performing arts have always been a passion of mine, because it builds my confidence and personality skills. I have taken chorus classes for five years and recently did theatre for two years. On the side I write short stories that will be filmed into either a short film or a movie. However with all these passions I would love to become a screenwriter and write movies that no one has seen before. In the movie industry today it has been the same story line but with different titles, directors, actors, and plot. In my opinion there must something new to show and tell that viewers would want to see again and again. I know my stories can change lives because it deals with real life situations. For example I wrote a story called “A Time to Realize”, which was about a girl who lost her best friend and lost hope on being a teenager. After meeting this new kid during the summer she starts to let go of the past and move forward with new people and hobbies. Even though it still breaks her heart she lost her only best friend, she realized that he would always be in her heart. This story can relate to anyone who lost a family member or feels that no one loves them. I do believe the movie industry will be changed in the best way possible to were we can love each other and treat each other like we would our selves.
