I want to reach women in India. I want to obtain my degree as soon as possible so that I can begin working on what God has my heart set on. At the end of college I hope to have a degree in Journalism AD/PR. With this degree I plan to become a public relations correspondent for a company/companies that help people in the part of the globe known as the 10/40. Through a lot of research I have learned that there are many people groups that need help in that part of the globe. I know that many of the people in this area are poor, without proper sanitation, starving, under oppression, and abused. My dream is to eventually start my own company selling women’s products like soap, cosmetics, lotions, etc. in order to raise money. This money would be used to help women and young girls in the 10/40 window or upper India. The money would support a group of people responsible for living in that area. The people living there would teach the natives in that area about the dangers of selling young daughters to people who will turn them into female prostitutes, the negativity of female infanticide, and the value of women. If I receive this scholarship than I will be able to achieve my goal of going to college next semester. In turn, this will lead me to obtaining my major, and hopefully help me to change the world for the better.
