I will major in business administration, minor in Spanish, and eventually go to medical school. With my major and minor I will become a pediatric surgeon. Once I have completed my college career, I will focus on the youth. I will change the game by using my professional career to provide medical attention to children not only in my community, but also in countries around the world including Africa and China.
My goal is to begin making a difference by creating special facilities, specifically for people in impoverished neighborhoods. With my education and experience I will be able to use my knowledge to increase the amount of medical attention underprivileged children have access to. The national government is currently doing its best to insure everyone is covered by health insurance. However, there is still an abundance of families that are not eligible to qualify for quality health insurance. Therefore it is imperative that children are able to receive the help that is necessary to keep them healthy, because children are the future.
HIV and AIDs affect millions of people worldwide every year. With my education, I will insure that all teens know the dangers of these sexually transmitted diseases by reaching out to them through social media and seminars. I believe that by holding informative classes for the youth in various communities’ will help lower the increasing percentages of people that suffer and die from STIs.
