As a child I always loved helping other people out to the best of my ability. I always struggled on deciding what I wanted to be once I grew older for a long time, but I knew I wanted my career to include me helping others. With much thought and consideration I came to the realization that I wanted to become a Physical Therapist. Physical Therapist are licensed health care professionals who work with patients to help reduce pain and improve or restore movement. I felt like this was a perfect occupation for me because I am still able to help others which are something I am very passionate about.
In my lifetime I have several accomplishments that I would like to achieve. By achieving these accomplishments I have to set goals for myself. As of now I am a Biology major at Clark Atlanta University where I am currently taking classes that will help prepare me for my occupation. My short term goals are to continue to study and make good grades so that I can graduate from college with a BS in Biology and continue on to purse my Master’s Degree. Once I am established in my career I would like to open up my own practice for Physical Therapy. By having my own practice I will be able to help many more patients who may need help. This will be my way of making the world a better place.
