I have always thought my purpose in life was to help people. As I grew older I realized that there was a lot of countries that need help. While exploring my major opportunities and options I finally decided I wanted to be an engineer. While exploring possible ways to help developing countries I came across a program called Engineers Without Borders. I strive to one day be able to help all of the people in developing countries. By doing so I’ve chosen to double major in civil and environmental engineering. Looking at my goals and looking at what I wanted to do with my life I decided it would be a good idea to double major in those two particular branches of engineering mainly because they are most helpful for survival. I aspire to be able to go to different countries and design and create water filters so that all of the people can drink water safely. As well as building safe bridges and roads for transportation.
Doing what I love and what I’ve always planned to do will change the world. I plan to go into developing countries and help them build up from the bottom. I want to change the world one country at time.
