My true passion in life is mathematics and I intend to pursue a career as an aerospace engineer so that I may use my mathematical and scientific abilities in order to help individuals around the world. I intend to do many things with my education in the engineering field; I plan to work with other engineers on projects that affect the masses, such as technology to assist with damage control from tornadoes and satellites to help scientists gather information on the world. However, there is one dream I have that I put above all others. I want to and plan on starting a company that invests its time in developing vehicles that have a higher success rate in saving lives in a car wreck. Years ago a dear friend of mine lost her sister to a drunk driver. Ever since, I have decided that I would one day develop a vehicle that makes it nearly impossible to lose your life in a car wreck. Many have told me that this is impossible. To that I simply reply, “That is why I will be a great engineer. I do not accept something to be impossible like you, only difficult.” I despise the saying “the sky is the limit”, because it implies there is such thing as a limit. Allowing a limit to exist prevents you from achieving great things. There is no such thing as a limit.
