My two passions in life have always been playing softball and working with children. I have always loved kids and want to be a teacher. I also loved playing softball since the day I stepped onto a field. The feeling of hitting a triple to right field or catching a sky-high fly ball is a feeling that nothing else compares to. If I could make a living being a kids’ softball coach, I would do it in a heartbeat. To achieve this coaching dream, I would have to find a job that would pay well enough to support my future family, but that’s about the only thing. Softball takes dedication and perseverance. If I was a coach, I would hope to teach my team to be dedicated, not just to softball, but to schoolwork and everything that they do in life. Being dedicated to school is something that I really like to stress because with the right education and enough dedication, students can accomplish anything. I feel that if I were to become a softball coach to a group of young women, I could teach them to be good softball players, but I could also teach them to be a team of world changers. The qualities learned in softball like time management, responsibility, reliability, teamwork, dedication, sportsmanship, and confidence are required for people to grow up and function in society. If the kids learn these qualities, there is nothing that can stop them from reaching any goals they set.
