I have always wanted to go into a career that not only makes me happy but also makes many others. When I started researching careers I decided that I wanted to go into the medical field and become a Nurse. As time went by, I started looking into different types of Nurses and came across the title Nurse Practioner. I learned that as a Nurse Practioner I would be able to open my own clinic along with many other great opportunities. As a Nurse Practioner I knew that I could make a difference in the lives of others which was not only one of my career goals but also one of my life goals. I plan to open my own clinic one day that gives anyone in the community the opportunity to receive healthcare regardless of their financial status. I plan to make this dream come true by first attending Texas State University where I plan to earn my Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and continue my education to earn my Master’s degree and become a Nurse Practioner. I also plan to gain experience in this field by working in hospitals or clinics. I understand that I will have to work very hard to achieve this goal and I plan to do just that! Please reward me with this scholarship so I can have the opportunity to attend and pay for college. This scholarship would help me now so in the future I can help others!
