Growing up in a low-income family has been a great motivator for my life. I became more attuned to the suffering of people around me since I could relate to their similar situations. I have always wanted to help these people, but given my circumstances, I was not able provide any sort of aid. My solution to this problem was to rise out of poverty with the power of education and then become financially successful. With my given success, I would finally be able to give back to the less fortunate people who have no hope for a better life.
My plan seemed simple enough; however, there were more intricate details that needed to be addressed. I had to excel in each stage of my educational career. I persevered in my schooling and worked extremely hard to maintain my grades. I then had to choose an area of specific study that I would specialize in, if I were able to attend college. Business had always interested me since I was young, so the choice was somewhat clear. Business management became my desired study.
Being a business manager would enable me to have the opportunities to interact with products and/or services and hopefully make those products and/or services available to those who otherwise wouldn’t be able to afford them. My compassion for inopportune people motivates me to achieve greater success in order to give back.
