What I love most is helping people, especially those who are sick and/or hurting. My mother is a Nurse, as is my sister. I have been “brought up” in the world of nursing, and have been “practicing” healthcare since I was a small child, mostly on dolls and pets! I actually started working in healthcare when I was eighteen and at this time I am attempting to further my education. I started out as a C.N.A. for ten years, then a L.P.N. for the last seven years, and now I am presently working on my Associates Degree in Nursing. Afterward, I plan on continuing my education to become a Nurse Practitioner. I am currently enrolled at Dalton State College and will continue there until I earn my Bachelor’s Degree. Then I plan on going to Emory University to obtain my Master’s Degree in Nursing. After achieving my goal of becoming a N.P., I will then be able to help change the world one person at a time, by providing medical care to those in need, and saving lives. As a C.N.A., I believe that I made a difference in peoples’ lives; as a L.P.N., I believe I have touched peoples’ lives. As a N.P., I believe I will change the world by improving the quality of peoples’ lives. I am already living my dream of helping others, but I would love to do more, for more, and by achieving my goal of becoming a N.P. I can do just that.
