If I could earn a living doing anything I would help our species live more responsibly and conservatively. Many problems humans face in the world today tie directly to resources and energy. Unfortunately we waste resources and destroy our planet with little thought of consequence. We burn fossil fuels, use billions of tons of plastic, and bury many recyclable things into our landfills. If we want to be a part of this planet for the centuries to come we must start figuring out better ways to live right now.
Clean energy such as wind power and solar power are one example of a better way of living with the planet we have. Wind and solar power have been around for thousands of years but we are just now beginning to implement them. Harnessing the power of the sun and wind is a great way to power the world of tomorrow. These technologies are relatively expensive but they are starting to gain widespread popularity amongst the masses. Expanding on the groundwork of these energy making processes and developing new ones will change the world forever.
In order to help change the world I plan on obtaining a degree in environmental engineering. With this degree I intend to search out companies, people, organizations or anyone working on the same dream. There are many bright minds working toward making this world better. I can only dream that I can become one of these great people.
