If I could earn a living doing what I enjoy doing that would be to empower those who are living with disadvantages. In addition to teaching about barriers that individuals experience daily. The force of life is the drive for fulfillment; we all have a need to experience a life of meaning. Understanding these needs, and which ones individuals are trying to meet in any giving moment, can help you create new patterns that lead to lasting fulfillment. Work to build a community where people want to live, work and leave an impact. Where every person is valued and respected; there is an exchange of learning and growing that happens within the community.
Provide empowerment education, employment assistance, health, housing referrals and support services to those who are in disadvantaged positions due to incarceration, poverty, homelessness, HIV/AIDS or involvement in the criminal justice system. In which will provide personal fulfillment.
My goals of creating new patterns that could lead to fulfillment are as followed:
Assist with safe and secure housing by networking within the community or outside of the local community.
Provide them with personal and community connections that are important for successful life change.
Guide individuals through their own resources. Teach them how to build resources as part of their move towards self-sufficiency.
Provide referrals/access to educational, job readiness and housing programs as part of their personal development.
Nutrition education classes
Referrals/access to medical, dental, vision, mental health, and other specialty care
Advocacy throughout their personal growth and development
