If I could earn a living doing what I loved the most it would be teaching. As a future educator I believe that children are the future and you have to treat them as such. They are our future politicians, lawyers, doctors, nurses, and even like me future educators. Teaching allows you to plant new ideas that will eventually blossom into great inventions and even great morals that will make each child a better individual. I would create a curriculum that did not just solely educate and test through regular core subject classes like math and English, but also teach the children life lessons like balancing checkbooks, workplace readiness skills, taking care of a house and more lessons that are often overlooked in school systems now. The goal would not be just to have students learn the skill but make it mandatory that each child excel in any specified curriculum. I believe this will give every student a fair chance in life with finances and work experience as they head forward into their careers. Some goals I set for myself to make this dream a reality are to first Earn my bachelors in education, then continue my education and receive my Master’s degree. Following that I plan on teaching for a few years so I can learn the ropes and eventually move my way up the school system and make a name for myself and eventually set my ideas in motion through my own school.
